To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

If you are enrolled in an associates degree program and have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher you are eligible to become a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Steps to Join
1) Fill out an application
2) Pay a one time fee of $70.00 to the CPTC cashiering office.
3) Attach a copy of your unofficial transcripts and receipt to your application.
4) Give your completed forms to your instructor and ask them to put them in
Kathleen Hathaway’s mailbox or drop them in the acrylic box outside Rm. 205,
Bldg. 10
5) Watch for a flyer and email regarding the date and time of the quarterly
induction ceremony. We encourage members to bring family and friends to this
event.
6) Your official membership pin and card will be sent from the international
headquarters in approximately one quarter.
